Kathy Hart, EdD

Kathy’s driving passion and unsurpassed expertise is guiding and supporting individuals and groups going through change and transformation. Her goal is to provide professional women with the support and resources needed to re-imagine and lead even more abundant, joy-filled and purpose driven lives. She urges women to get off the fence of fear and indecision, taking the action needed to live into their imagined dreams.

Never one to settle for easy answers and was always striving for her next big adventure, Kathy accelerated into her midlife by completing a doctoral degree, starting her own company, and becoming a care giver for her mother – all in the same year! While your life changes may not be this dramatic, having a coach to support you, challenge you, and celebrate your successes can make all the difference in the world.

Kathy has dedicated her life to transforming those around her. As a young adult with the American Red Cross she volunteered at major disasters, determining how to quickly and systematically transform needy victims into courageous survivors. Her girlhood passion of helping others evolved into a 20+ year career in safety and health working with executives and front line leaders to transform entrenched bureaucracies into caring, safe and healthy businesses. In 2012 she was recognized by the American Society of Safety Engineers’ Women in Safety Engineering as one of the top “100 Women Making a Difference in Safety”.

As a business owner she has advised, coached and consulted for such well-known companies as Genentech, PG&E Company, and Armstrong World Industries. Her clients have described her as a “trusted confidante and partner”, “an amazing lady to work with”, and someone who “challenged our thinking, celebrated our successes, and deeply cared about how to inspire and engage our managers.”

A highly sought-after speaker and educator, Kathy has presented professionally to audiences throughout the United States and around the globe. Described as an “energetic, relevant and engaging” speaker, she provides dynamic topics related to human change and transformation that are jam-packed with content.

Always the adventurer, from her doctoral research in Laos to riding camels in the Sahara Desert, Kathy, her husband Paul and their cat Miss Independent have embarked upon a global gap year of traveling and working abroad.
